"Less than a block from the new Allentown Brew Works" and in the middle of "Downtown excitement", this older hotel has "good bones" and a "friendly" staff, but the place doesn't always seem that "well run", and some of the facilities are in "disrepair" (the "TV looks like it is from 1985"); still, it's a decent "place to sleep" with "spacious rooms" and "cozy" beds topped with "lots of pillows and a plump comforter."

Felt and looked more like a 2.5 - 3 star rather than a 2 star. I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was very clean, smelled so nice.

Ice machine on our floor was broken. $10 / day charge for microwave or fridge, too much. Low water pressure in toilet.

I had booked 2 rooms with 2 double beds. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel decor was beautiful. I really liked the rugs so pretty throughout and the rugs in our rooms were so soft and still plush. Staff was pleasant and helpful. ...read more

We had two rooms that were connected. The overall quality was great. A couple of minor issues, but nothing to stop us from using this hotel again. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Desk clerk very helpful and accomodating. Hotel ice machine was out of order on our floor, but next floor had one. Rooms were very neat and spacious. I would definitely stay there again.

The front desk personnel were very friendly.

The pool was closed. We had to pay for parking.

The rooms were very comfortable. I didn't like the location. It's more for business travelers. My kids were looking forward in using the pool but when we arrived they advise us that they closed the pool down. My kids were very upset because they thought they could enjoy the pool.
